Where to See Wild Koalas

Koala Spotting Guide β†’

Around 300 koalas live high in the canopy of Narrandera’s Flora and Fauna Reserve, part of the longest continuous tract of River Red Gum Forest in the world. It’s one of Australia’s most successful conservation stories β€” a once lost population now a thriving colony.

Before you head out, visit the Destination and Discovery Hub for seasonal advice, recent sightings, and practical tips. For a guaranteed sighting, visit in spring during the annual Koala Festival.
