Nestled along the Murrumbidgee River, the Narrandera Flora and Fauna Reserve is a peaceful retreat where you can connect with nature. It’s home to a flourishing community of wildlife, including the iconic koala, thanks to a visionary local effort that began in 1972. Starting with just a handful of koalas, the reserve now supports around 300 healthy residents, all thriving on a diet of river red gum leaves.
