Just 20 kilometres east of Narrandera, Grong Grong, or ‘Grongy’ as the locals might say, is a tight-knit community with a population of around 300 people. Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a place where everyone feels like they belong.

Grong Grong offers a true slice of country life with a general store, post office, hotel and motel to meet your needs.

For families, the Grong Grong Earth Park is a must-visit. It features natural playscapes, food gardens and even a mud pie station for the kids. Visitors are welcome to pick fresh produce from the gardens and explore the cubby or village pump.

Across the road, Grong Grong Park is perfect for families with picnic areas, a free BBQ and playground for the kids. It also welcomes travellers with free camping and a dump point for caravans and RVs.

Community spirit runs deep here, with local clubs and the Grong Grong Hall and Progress Committee leading the charge on a range of projects. Whether you're visiting or staying a while, Grong Grong’s charm will make you feel right at home.
