Easter Eats: What’s Open in Narrandera this Easter

Easter in Narrandera arrives with the unmistakable rumble of engines as the annual Rod Run rolls into town. To help you plan between cruising the streets, checking out the show ‘n shine, and soaking up the holiday atmosphere, we’ve rounded up the cafes, pubs and takeaway spots open across the Easter long weekend.

Where the Good Beans Are:

  • Cafe on Adams Street will be open across the Easter weekend, with evening service on Good Friday (4pm–8pm) and brunch hours on Easter Sunday and Monday (7am–2pm).

  • Narrandera Bakery will be open across the Easter period, trading Thursday and Good Friday from 6.30am–5pm, Easter Saturday from 7am–2.30pm, and Easter Sunday from 8am–2pm, before closing on Easter Monday.

  • 26 on Bolton will take a pause on Good Friday, before welcoming guests from 7am–2.30pm across Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

  • The Red Door Cafe will open Easter Saturday from 8am–3pm, and will be closed Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday.

  • The Early Opener will be open over the Easter weekend on Saturday and Monday from 7.30am–10.30am.

  • The Shed Life Fitness and Coffee will be open across the Easter weekend on Saturday from 7am–1pm and Sunday from 7am–11.30am.

  • The Yard will be open Thursday until 8pm, then from 6am daily over the Easter weekend, closing at 9pm on Good Friday, 11pm on Saturday, 8pm on Sunday, and 7pm on Monday.

  • Halls Cuisine and The Grongy Store will be taking a break over Easter and will remain closed across the long weekend.

Sit and Savour:

  • Narrandera Ex-Serviceman’s Club Restaurant will be open across the Easter weekend.

  • Hing Wah Restaurant will be closed only on Easter Sunday, remaining open all other days.

  • Kornthida Thai will welcome guests throughout the Easter long weekend.

  • Narrandera Bowling Club – Out Do Brew on the Green will be open Friday and Saturday from 12pm–8pm, and Sunday from 12pm–2pm.

Great Times on Tap:

  • Bidgee Hotel will be open for meals across the Easter weekend, closing only on Easter Monday.

  • Charles Sturt Hotel will welcome guests all weekend, with extended hours on Saturday until 9pm.

  • Commercial Hotel Barellan will serve meals from its kitchen each evening over the Easter period.

  • Royal Hotel Grong Grong will offer lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Goodness to Go:

  • Narrandera Pizza will be open for pizza all weekend from 5pm, closing only on Easter Monday.

  • Popular Fish Shop will welcome customers on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, before taking a short break on Easter Sunday and Monday.

Road Trip Refuels:

  • Ampol Roadhouse will be open 24 hours over the Easter period, with its Roadhouse Café serving a full range of hot meals, snacks, and coffee around the clock.

  • Liberty Narrandera Service Station will be open throughout the Easter weekend, keeping its usual hours for a quick grab-and-go option anytime you need fuel or snacks.

  • Mobile Roadhouse will operate all weekend, offering convenience on the move and a reliable stop for travelers over Easter.

  • Subway will welcome guests over the Easter period during its regular hours, perfect for a fresh, made-to-order meal on the go.
