Tucked away inside the Narrandera Flora and Fauna Reserve, First Beach is a local favourite for swimming and sunbaking. Shady gums and soft river sand make it a go-to spot for cooling down in Summer. Accessible via vehicle or on foot through the Reserve - keep an eye out for koalas along the way!
A little further upstream, Second Beach offers a quieter spot for those who like their riverside afternoons a little more secluded. Also nestled in the Flora and Fauna Reserve, it's a great place to roll out a picnic rug, cast a fishing line, or go for a summer swim.
Following the river northwest, Koori Beach sits along a gentle bend of the Murrumbidgee near Lizard Drive. It's a narrow stretch of sandy riverbank, popular for fishing and paddling. A peaceful spot with a special connection to local Wiradjuri culture, it's a lovely place to pause and take in the river's quiet beauty.

No lifeguards are on duty - swim safe and stick to shallow waters;
Bring insect repellent, especially during summer months;
