REDCAP Agency and MusicNSW, presents: West Bound & Down - a stellar tour of original Bluegrass, Country and Folk music from 3 incredible artists based in regional NSW: Jessie May, Peel River Ramblers and Joe Terror.

Jessie May is a fiddle-playing singer-songwriter from Armidale NSW, blending classical roots with a country-folk heart. For many years in Central Australia, she taught classroom music, developed her songwriting craft, performed with bands of many genres, hosted jams, formed a women’s choir, and recorded her debut EP ‘Petrichor’. Now based in Dubbo, she plays locally, and around the state, sharing raw, heartfelt songs about the people and places that shape her.

Joe Terror is a genre-bending artist hailing from the North Coast of NSW. Currently performing solo, he highlights the softer, alternative country aspects of his prolific catalog. Joe’s performances are an emotive journey, where his captivating voice and heartfelt personal stories intertwine with intricate acoustic fingerpicking, creating a unique and immersive experience for his audiences.

Formed in 2024 and hailing from Tamworth, Peel River Ramblers is made up of Travis, Chloe, Ethan, and Ben. Stitched together by a love of bluegrass, country, western, old-time, and everything-in-between music, their shows are lively and loose with songs full of stories. This year, they’ve performed at Tamworth Country Music Festival, with upcoming performances in Dubbo and Krambach, Dorrigo Folk & Bluegrass Festival, and closer-to-home appearances at Tamworth’s Hats Off to Country festival.
