Guided Murrumbidgee River Adventure Tour

  • Narrandera, NSW, 2700 Australia (map)

Experience the serenity and natural beauty of the Murrumbidgee River with a guided half-day kayak tour in Narrandera. Your journey begins at the picturesque Koori Beach (also known as Town Beach), where you’ll meet your friendly guides from In-Motion Fitness and fellow adventurers. From there, you’ll hop aboard the bus and embark on a short scenic ride to the starting point at Buckingbong Reserve.

As we arrive at Buckingbong Reserve, anticipation builds for the adventure ahead. With expert guidance and safety instructions from our experienced team, you’ll feel confident and ready to explore the waters of the Murrumbidgee River.

We’ll set out on a leisurely downstream paddle, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Australian bushland. The Murrumbidgee River’s gentle currents guide us along, providing a perfect opportunity to immerse ourselves in the natural wonders of the region.

Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for lots of koalas and other native wildlife such as kangaroos, waterbirds, and perhaps even a platypus or two, as they thrive in their natural habitat. Our knowledgeable guides will share insights into the area’s ecology, history, and indigenous culture, enriching your experience as we meander downstream.

As we approach the conclusion of our journey, we pass under the historic rail bridge and then the familiar sight of Koori Beach comes into view. With a sense of accomplishment and memories to cherish, we’ll paddle ashore, concluding our adventure where it all began.

Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or new to kayaking, our half-day tour offers an unforgettable experience for all ages and skill levels and covers 17km on the water. Come join us on the Murrumbidgee River and discover the magic of Narrandera’s natural beauty from a unique perspective!
