7.30am to 9am | Australia Day Community Breakfast at Marie Bashir Park
Start your day with a delicious community breakfast hosted at Marie Bashir Park. Enjoy good food and great company before the official ceremony begins.
9am to 10.30am | Australia Day Awards Ceremony at Marie Bashir Park
Celebrate the outstanding contributions of our local citizens and groups at this year’s Awards Ceremony. Enjoy performances by One Voice Choice and Yiramarong Dance group as we recognise those who make Narrandera a wonderful place to live.
10.30am to 1pm | Survival Day Family Event at Koori Beach
Come together for a day of culture and connection. Enjoy art, craft, and dance workshops, traditional games and a barbeque lunch at the river.
1pm to 4pm | Celebrate the Nation, Respect the Beat at Narrandera Ex-Servicemen’s Club
Enjoy an afternoon of great live music with Sticky Fingers The Band performing Aussie hits, country tunes, and classics to sing and dance along to.
2.30pm to 4pm | Stand Up Paddle Boarding at Rocky Waterholes
Try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding on the calm waters of Rocky Waterholes. A fun and relaxed activity for all ages (Bookings essential).
5pm to 6.30pm | Sunset Kayak Tour at Rocky Waterholes
End your Australia Day on the water with a peaceful sunset kayak tour, gliding along the picturesque Rocky Waterhole area (Bookings essential).
Barellan
10am to 12pm | Australia Day at Barellan Pool
A family-friendly morning featuring bush poetry, live music, and a community barbeque. Kids can enjoy pool games and fun activities. Entry is free - bring your swimmers, cool off, and join in the community spirit.
Grong Grong
11.30am to 3pm | Australia Day at Grong Grong
Raise the flag at Grong Grong Park at 11.30am, followed by lunch and entertainment at the Royral Hotel. Don’t miss the ever-popular yabby races!
