Fusion Children’s Advent Pageant

A colourful community tradition that kicks off our Christmas calendar! The Fusion Children's Advent Pageant will returns this year on Friday 28 November from 9.30am, bringing colour and excitement to Narrandera’s Marie Bashir Park with a parade of local school children telling the original Christmas Story.

From 7:30pm to 9:00pm, Yapunyah Street in Barellan comes alive with carols, a free sausage sizzle, and plenty of chances to catch up with neighbours, friends, and visitors passing through. If you’re chasing an authentic small-town Christmas moment, Light Up Barellan is as real and joyous as it gets.

Pack a picnic blanket and settle in for one of Narrandera’s most cherished traditions. Carols in the Park brings families, friends, and visitors together for an evening of music under the stars. With performances by With One Voice Riverina and the Narrandera Community Band, Carols in the Park will be held from 6pm on Sunday 14 December at Marie Bashir Park.
19-23 December 2025
A highlight of the season for families. Hop aboard the Lions Train as it winds through town, visiting the entrants in Narrandera’s annual Christmas Lights Competition. Leaving from Marie Bashir Park, tickets for the train are available from Trims Collective, 89 East Street, Narrandera.

Retro Rewind: Countdown to 2026!
