Water Tower Art
Mount Street, Narrandera NSW 2700

Visit the Narrandera Water Tower — an unmissable Riverina landmark.

Created by Apparition Media, the water tower features two striking collaged artworks. Each piece draws on layered imagery and bold visual storytelling. The creation of the first artwork was filmed over the course of a week — a rare behind-the-scenes look at the process. From early preparation to the final layers taking shape, the footage reveals the care, precision, and creativity involved in bringing public art to life. The mural was subsequently named Australia's Best Mega Mural in the 2019 Australian Street Art Awards.

Look out for images of the lizard, koala, Murray cod, paddle steamer and Tiger Moth plane, among others. And, of course, the stunning Murrumbidgee River is featured prominently, paying tribute to the heart of our community. Visitors can admire the mural and read more about the symbolism while taking in the best views across town.
