Clydesdale Statue
Yapunyah Street, Barellan NSW 2665
Inspired by a beloved filly named Norma, the statue was created by sculptors Gillie and Marc Shattner and stands proudly next to the historic CWA Rest House.
These powerful working horses carried Australia through its formative years of rural development, long before the machinery we rely on today. Their legacy lives on, celebrated every October at Barellan’s Good Old Days Festival, a vibrant event that brings history to life with harness displays and demonstrations.
