JANUARY Narrandera Rodeo Conducted under the auspices of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) it attracts top riders who are working the professional rodeo circuit. Australia Day Celebrations Australia Day, January 26, is the biggest day of celebration in the nation. On Australia Day we come together as a nation to celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. It is the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation. Narrandera Shire undertakes to celebrate the occasion through an array of activities throughout the day with the foremost activity being the official function and presentation of the Australia Day awards in Narrandera Park. FEBRUARY NSW Water Skiing Zone 5 Championships The New South Wales Water Skiing Zone 5 Championships is an annual event which showcases some of the states most talented water skiers. Watch skiers developing match fitness in tricks, slalom and jumps for State and National Titles. The Championship is a 3 event, 2 round tournament; there are multiple rounds for single event Slalom skiers; beginners are welcome; special mini course division and all levels of skiers looked after. Onsite catering is available for breakfast and lunch both days and a barbeque dinner onsite Saturday evening.
