Australia Day Celebrations Australia Day, January 26, is the biggest day of celebration in the nation. On Australia Day we come together as a nation to celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. It is the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation. Narrandera Shire undertakes to celebrate the occasion through an array of activities throughout the day with the foremost activity being the official function and presentation of the Australia Day awards in Narrandera Park. FEBRUARY NSW Water Skiing Zone 5 Championships The New South Wales Water Skiing Zone 5 Championships is an annual event showcasing some of the state's most talented water skiers. Watch skiers develop match fitness in tricks, slalom and jumps for State and National Titles. The Championship is a three event, two round tournament with multiple rounds for single event Slalom skiers. Beginners are welcome. Special mini course division and all levels of skiers are looked after. Onsite catering is available for breakfast and lunch both days with a barbeque dinner onsite Saturday evening.
