Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2012
Featuring sponsored events ARTC Open Water Swim, Subway Sprint Distance Triathlon, Flipscreen Twilight Cycling Criterium plus road cycling events and running events.

ARTC Long Haul Open Water Swim
10.00am registration - 2, 4, 5, 6 & 8 km swims. 11am start for 8 km. 12.00 noon start for 2, 4 , 5 & 6 events.
Medals for place getters in various age groups in 2, 4, 6and 8 km events, 5 km event is only qualifying event for a national time.
Entry fee $15.00 for 2 & 4 km and $20.00 for 5, 6 & 8 km event

Narrandera's John O’Brien Festival
The years have turned the rusted key, and time is on the jog, Yet spend another night with me around the boree log. Just as John O’Brien penned in his famous poem Around the Boree Log, come and spend a night, a weekend or even a day at the John O’Brien festival in Narrandera.

The Narrandera John O’Brien Festival is a community event that is embedded in Narrandera’s calendar. Every year the town comes alive to music, poetry and song. The carnival atmosphere in the main street is not to be missed.

Easter Rod Run
This family friendly hot rod rally attracts hundreds of cars from all of the eastern states. On Easter Saturday in Narrandera Park enjoy the 'Show and Shine Carnival' and carnival atmosphere as you view a range of amazing cars.

Australian Freeflight Championships & Southern Cross Cup
The AFFS hosts the AFFS Championships once a year, over the Easter weekend, at a magnificent flying field (Widgiewa), situated near the Riverina town of Narrandera. This is the premier annual FF event in Australia, and includes the FAI classes (F1A, F1B, F1C, and the mini events F1H,G and J), vintage (rubber, power, and glider), open events (rubber and power), unique Australian events (Oz Diesel, Scramble), other events such as P30 rubber and of course, Free Flight scale.

ANZAC Day
The Memorial Gardens located on East Street host the annual ANZAC Day Services.

Koala Count (Annual)
The Narrandera community has taken the Reserve and its inhabitants to heart. Locals and visitors alike lend their eyes to the annual Koala Count. Supervised by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, the count involves groups of spotters spreading quietly throughout the reserve.

Once sighted a Koala's location is marked with a ribbon and sightings tallied at the end of the day. Volunteers are invited to join NSW Parks & Wildlife Officers to search for and count koalas in the Narrandera Koala Regeneration Reserve & surrounds.
